More information has been released on a two car crash that occurred late last week in Winfield Township.
According to State Police, 67-year-old William George of Tarentum was traveling on North Pike Road near Chapelview Drive just after 1pm on Thursday (May 11th) when 97-year-old Anna Freehling of Sarver allegedly pulled out directly in front of him.
Authorities say that both drivers, who were wearing seatbelts, were injured in the crash. Officials say that Freehling was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of chest pains while George was flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment for a wrist injury.
No other vehicles were involved in Thursday’s crash.
