Authorities are searching for two suspects who are accused of committing a quick-change theft at a Cranberry Township business.
According to our news partners at WPXI, Jack Rozemberg and Gruia Pasc recently went to the Walmart on Route 19 and took a laptop computer to one of the store’s registers.
Police say that one of the men then showed the cashier $900 in cash before sliding $400 back into his pocket before the money was put into the register.
Officials believe that the pair are part of an organized, multi-state quick change theft group. While it is unclear if any other local businesses were recently impacted, police say that this case is not the first time local agencies have dealt with these types of groups.
Authorities say that they do know where one of the suspects are located, while the other is still at large and is believed to be heading out of state. Both suspects face charges in this case, including racketeering.
