Pennsylvania game hunters and fishers should be aware of a planned outage this week of the Automated Licensing System.
According to the PA Game Commission, the system will be unavailable for a week beginning on Tuesday to allow for an upgrade to the new licensing system.
As a result, those who need to purchase a hunting or fur-taking license or permit as well as fishing licenses or permits are asked to do so before Tuesday. Online purchases will be sent by mail.
Hunters will also not be able to report harvests online while the system is offline but can continue to report through the mail with postcards from the Hunting or Trapping Digest or over the phone.
