Mail-in ballots were scheduled to be sent out today, but that process has now been put on hold.
Thanks to a number of lawsuits, that state ballot is still not finalized with 50 days until the general election.
One of the lawsuits was filed by state Democrats and it aims to keep the Green Party off of the ballot for the fall. That pending challenge has resulted in the official ballot not being certified yet.
President Trump has also weighed in on Pennsylvania’s election, by retweeting an op-ed over the weekend, and adding that “Governor Wolf should not be allowed to defraud the people of the United States.”
It’s unclear when the ballot will be made official, and when ballots will be sent out.
