The Butler Area School District is reorganizing a couple of administrative positions for the upcoming school year.
Dr. John Wyllie will move from serving as the co-principal of the Butler Area Senior High School, to the newly created role of Assistant to the Superintendents. In that role he will focus on several areas of focus such as implementation of a new teacher evaluation system, coordination of student support services, and alignment of K-12 career education programs.
Jason Huffman who also previously served as co-principal of the Senior High will take over as Principal of facility. Responsibilities of that role include overseeing daily operations of the school as well as collaboration with faculty and staff to provide a positive learning environment for students.
Both administrators will continue to be paid the same amount as they were in their previous position and there are no plans to add more administrators at this time.
