Today is the deadline for those interested in joining the Butler Area School District Community Committee For School Organization.
The committee will be tasked with reviewing three school organization options and figuring out how each would impact students, daily operations, and the annual school budget. The committee will then make a recommendation to the School Board who will ultimately make the decision about how to move forward.
Parents or guardians interested in serving on this committee should fill out a nomination form located online through the Butler Area School District website. An election will be conducted among the parents for each school to determine that school’s representative on the committee.
All committee participants must commit to attending all four meetings scheduled for October 23rd, 30th, and November 6th from 6 to 9 p.m. as well as November 16th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
