The Butler School Board continues to devote some meeting time to improve engagement with community members while also learning more about the activities of each school facility.
The second of two January meetings was held at Broad Street Elementary School Monday night so that board members could get a closer look at programs and student efforts.
Administrators spoke to board members about the school’s efforts as a Lighthouse Campus to connect with and empower student scholars through personalized learning and learning support inclusion.
Teachers also shared about a new incentive cabinet this year to help encourage students to exhibit positive behaviors along with i-Pad free recess that instead provides student with board games.
Finally, parents and community members discussed what makes Broad Street special as well as how groups are getting involved with supporting student needs.
