Approval has been given for another major capital project in the Butler Area School District.
At their meeting Monday night, the Butler School Board awarded a bid of $1.2 million to Pennsylvania Roofing System. The company will replace the roof at the Senior High School in Butler Township.
Superintendent Dr. Brian White said this was the lowest bid received for the work- and slightly lower than what had been estimated.
Work is expected to take place through the fall after school hours.
