The Butler County Community College basketball teams made school history Saturday when they both won their Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference Championship games at the BC3 Field House.
The BC3 women defeated Westmoreland County Community College 72-42 in the title game. It was their sixth title in eight years. Aslyn Pry netted 28 to lead the Lady Pioneers.
The BC3 men netted a 91-62 championship win over Penn Highlands in their championship game. It was the first winning record for the BC3 men since the 2009-10 season.
—Hailey Metzger, Emma Monteleone, Aslyn Pry, Derrick Anderson, Jason Baker and Kevaughn Price were selected to the WPCC All-Conference Team.
