Butler County Community College is celebrating the success of their annual golf outing, which brought in near six-figures in fundraising.
The BC3 Education Foundation golf outing was held earlier this month at Olde Stonewall Golf Club and raised at least $96,000.
College officials say the proceeds came from the full 120 golfer field and 37 sponsors.
Since the golfing outing’s inaugural year in 1996—the annual fundraiser has raised nearly $1.3 million. The proceeds are used to fund student scholarships, adult literacy, financial literacy, food security and other BC3 initiatives.
The winning team was from the Butler Eagle, with golfers Matt Burdick, Rob Voltz, Pat Preston, and Ken Fair shooting a -17.
