As we near the two year mark where COVID first hit the Keystone State, students and staff at Butler County Community College are now in their first full week of the year where masks are optional.
BC3 made the decision, along with other higher education institutions, to drop the mask mandate last week.
President Dr. Nick Neupauer says he appreciates the effort of students, staff and faculty during the pandemic and is looking forward to this next step.
“I think that all of those stakeholder groups are just thrilled that we’re at the point where it is mask optional,” Neupauer said.
Neupauer says BC3 will still host a mobile COVID testing center at their main campus next Monday.
