The public is invited to participate in writing workshops as well as hear readings from a local author later this week.
BC3 graduate and author Ellaura Shoop of Grove City will conduct a self-publishing workshop on Tuesday from 12:45 to 2 p.m. followed by award winning Slippery Rock author Dr. Damian Dressick leading a flash-fiction workshop from 5 to 5:45 p.m.
Dressick will then read from his historical novel titled “40 Patchtown” as well as a collection called “Fables of the Deconstruction” at the Heaton Family Learning Commons at 6 p.m.
The reading will be followed by a question and answer period as well as the opportunity for book signings and light refreshments. BC3 is temporarily requiring that face coverings be worn indoors at all BC3 facilities regardless of vaccination status.
