Local writers will have the chance to showcase their work on the campus of Butler County Community College tonight.
Student and alumni writers chosen from over 100 submissions to be published in BC3’s award-winning literary magazine Facets will read from their works from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Heaton Family Learning Commons.
The reading is open to the community and will include genres such as poetry and short stories. The evening will also include an open mic session for others who would like to share their writing.
This event is free and light refreshments will be served. Copies of the 74-page 2019 issue of Facets will be available to purchase for $7.
