Butler County Community College will remain closed through this weekend as a result of a ransomware attack.
College officials say that they will now move the last week of the fall semester to next week—December 6-11th.
Final examinations have been moved to the following week (December 13th through 18th) in the previously scheduled format of each course. Non-instructional staffing at all BC3 campuses will resume Monday.
In the meantime, BC3 information technology staff members are continuing to work on restoring databases, hard drives, servers, and other devices affected by the attack on Friday, November 19th.
