Students at Butler County Community College will showcase some of their efforts at three upcoming events.
First on Monday from noon to 2 p.m. in the NexTier Bank Conference Room in the Heaton Family Learning Commons, students will present research exhibits as part of the Presidential Scholars poster session. Topics include adult ADHD and celiac disease. The public is invited to attend and learn more about the latest research.
Then on Wednesday BC3 students will participate in the FACETS Celebration of the Arts gathering from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Succop Theater. An open-mic session is planned followed by spotlight readings from student authors published in this year’s edition of FACETS. Light refreshments will be available and copies of FACETS can be purchased.
Finally, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. this year’s Portfolio and Art Show is planned at BC3 Cranberry. The public is invited to view displays that include drawings, photography, digital audio and video production in the lobby and multi-purpose room. This showcase will also include live music and light refreshments with graphic design employers invited to view student work.
