It’ll cost slightly more to attend Butler County Community College next school year.
After keeping tuition and fees level last year, the BC3 board of trustees approved a small tuition hike earlier this week for the 2021-2022 year.
Butler County residents will be charged $120 per credit hour of a face-to-face class which is an increase of $2 compared to last year.
Students who do not live in Butler County but still live in Pennsylvania will see an increase of $5 per credit-hour to $223. The out-of-state and international rate will also increase by $5 to $323 per credit.
Fees of $52 per credit hour will not be increased.
The board also decided to eliminate full-time tuition rate for the academic year beginning this fall. Online courses will continue to cost an additional $25 per credit hour no matter where students live.
