Butler County Community College officials say a program targeted for secondary students is continuing to grow.
BC3’s “College Within the High School” offers a chance for students to earn college credits while still in high school. This semester, BC3 had 523 students enroll in the program, which was the most ever.
The college offered 18 different courses for students this semester. Officials say it’s the same syllabus and instruction materials that college students use.
High school students can start earning credits starting in their sophomore year. Anyone who wants to learn more can visit BC3’s website.
