Bette L. Minto, 83, of Connoquenessing, Pennsylvania, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 7, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 11, 1937, in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Francis Shaffer and the late Louella Stevenson Shaffer.
Bette worked as a Registered nurse for Butler Memorial Hospital. She volunteered for the Connoquenessing Meals on Wheels, and The Butler Surgical Center on Benbrook Rd. She loved serving the Lord over everything. Serving was very important to her. Bette loved to cook and bake and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. If there was a need of any kind, she always helped. Bette loved her friends and played cards with them once a month.
Bette is survived by her son, Mark Minto and his wife, Marnita of Renfrew, PA; three daughters, Lisa A. White and her husband, Jeff of Butler, PA, LuEllen Gall and her husband, Tim of Connoquenessing, PA, Michele Krause and her husband, Mark of New Castle, PA; nine grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one sister, MaryAnn Talley and her husband, Sanders of Scottsboro, AL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Minto, who she married on April 22, 1958, and who passed away on May 16, 2002; one sister; one brother; and one grandson.
There will be no public visitation.
A celebration of life for Bette L. Minto, will be held on Wednesday, August 11th at 1:00 p.m. Connoquenessing United Methodist Church, with Pastor Bonnie Rupp, officiating.
Private burial was held at Butler County Memorial Park.
