Beverly K. Christie

Beverly K. Christie, 78, of Cabot passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Born in Kittanning on January 29, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Guy and Monica (Burke) Moore. After graduating Butler High School in 1963, she married her loving and loyal husband, Dick of 59 years. Beverly was a homemaker. She enjoyed planting flowers, fishing, writing, and painting. She loved to shop at Dollar General and always taking the back roads. She was a fan of old country music and loved to dance. She enjoyed many camping trips with her family. Mostly she was content to live a quiet, simple life on “her hill”, where her husband made sure she had everything she needed. Bev is survived by her husband, Richard James Christie. In addition to her husband, Bev is survived by her sons Richard (Tracy) Christie and Scott (Jodie) Christie. Also surviving are her grandchildren Joshua, Kelly, Jennifer (Justin), Tucker, Caden and 6 great grandchildren who lovingly called her Grandma Bean. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Moore. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from noon till 2 PM in the SPENCER D.
