With Pennsylvania now expanding the number of people eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, county leaders are urging people to be patient with the process.
The Butler Health System said that “there is not nearly enough vaccine to accommodate this expanded group.” Officials with BHS say they will only be vaccinating healthcare workers and people 75 and above at this point.
Butler County commissioners also encouraged patience. At this time they said it’s the hospitals and pharmacies that are handling the distribution of the vaccine.
The Department of Health has set up a website that lists locations that will distribute the vaccine. We have that link here. However, an immediate phone number of hotline was not available.
