Butler County is reviewing bids for a road project in Summit Township.
The county received a $267,000 bid to reconstruct Binsey Road, which is just north of Route 422.
The project includes widening, resurfacing, and adding drainage.
According to county officials, the road is in such disrepair that no school bus or garbage truck can go on the road. That’s led residents to take their garbage to the end of the road, or have kids catch the bus not in front of their house.
Officials say they are hopeful the project will be completed by the end of the year.
