It’s a Butler summer tradition- the Big Butler Fair returns today for its 164th summer.
The event officially begins at 9 a.m. Friday and runs for nine days ending next Saturday, July 6. The fair offers something for everyone- including demolition derbies, truck pulls, concerts, animal competitions, amusement rides and food.
Fair admission is $7 before 4 p.m. and $9 after 4 p.m…$15 if you want to ride the carnival rides. Children 6 and under get in free.
The featured event on Friday is a concert by popular Pittsburgh-based band The Clarks. Butler Radio’s The Rock Station 97.7FM- and its personalities- will be broadcasting live from the fair all afternoon and evening leading up to the concert.
