The Big Butler Fair has been canceled this year.
Sources confirmed the cancellation to our newsroom Wednesday morning.
The fair board met last night to discuss the future of this year’s fair, which ultimately resulted in its cancellation for this year.
This was scheduled as the 165th annual Big Butler Fair. The nine day event was to take place July 3-11 at the fairgrounds on Route 422 in Prospect.
