The 165th Big Butler Fair continues this week in Prospect.
The event, which is held at the Big Butler Fairgrounds on Route 422, is one of the largest fairs in the state. Attractions include amusement rides, livestock exhibits, live music and food stands.
Thursday is a busy day at the fair with Full Pull Truck Pulls beginning at 6 p.m. followed by a Celebrity Milking Contest at 7 p.m. The popular Free Giant Sundae is scheduled for 8 p.m.
Fair admission is $8 online or $7 before 4 p.m. at the gate and $9 after. It does cost more to ride the amusement rides. Children ages 6 and younger get in for free.
The fair runs through next Saturday.
