The 165th Big Butler Fair continues this week in Prospect.
The event, which is held at the Big Butler Fairgrounds on Route 422, is one of the largest fairs in the state. Attractions include amusement rides, livestock exhibits, live music and food stands.
Thursday is highlighted by the Big Rigs Pulling Series and Celebrity Milking Contest.
Friday is a busy day at the fair with Kid Power Pedal Pulls beginning at 5 p.m. followed by the Mud Bog at 7 p.m. The evening continues with the annual youth awards program at 7 and the youth dance at 8:30 p.m.
Then on Saturday night, a free concert featuring Casey Donahew will happen along with a second bike night.
Fair admission is $8 online or $7 before 4 p.m. at the gate and $9 after. It does cost more to ride the amusement rides. Children ages 6 and younger get in for free.
The fair runs through Saturday.
