The Big Butler Fair continues this week.
The 168th running of the fair will feature food, carnival rides and games, demo derbies, tractor pulls, farm animals, concerts, and a professional 4th of July firework show.
Visitors Thursday will be able to enjoy an Antique Tractor Pull at 10 a.m. in the Grandstand followed by Barnyard Olympics at the Cattle Arena at 6. Also at 6, Military Honors are planned to take place at the Horse Area while Truck Pulls are held at the Grandstand. Independence Day will also include the free Giant Sundae at 8 and fireworks beginning at 9.
General fair gate admission tickets can be purchased for $9 online or between $8 and $10 at the gate cash only depending on the time. Children 6 and under are free. Parking is also free.
The Big Butler Fair is going on through Saturday at the fairgrounds on New Castle Road in Prospect. The Fair opens daily at 9 a.m. and closes around 11 p.m.
