Blase F. “Butch” Leinenbach, 63, of Butler passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at the Chicora Medical Center.
Born March 31, 1954 in Butler, he was a son of John B. Leinenbach and the late Gail J. Fry who passed away January 5, 2004.
He worked as a Tech Support Representative for Guardian Security. He retired in 2017 following 39 years service. Butch was the former owner of Rivers Edge Campground.
He enjoyed camping, boating and his grandchildren.
Surviving is his son Chris (Kristy) Leinenbach of Butler.
2 grandchildren: Lenny and Lloyd.
4 brothers: John (Terri) Leinenbach of Chicora, Keith (Sue) Leinenbach of Cabot, Bruce (Renea) Leinenbach of Fredonia, NY and Brian Leinenbach, his companion, Crystal of Lyndora.
2 sisters: Anita (Joe) Stevenson of Slippery Rock and Gay (Rich) Hawkey of Butler.
Numerous nieces and nephews, special friends and coworkers whom he considered family.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 1-3 and 5-7 pm Thursday. A Blessing service to be held at 11:30 am Friday from the Funeral Home. Rev. Matthew McClain will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to Meals on Wheels at 218 East Jefferson St. Butler, PA 16001.
