Local residents are invited to spring forward into warmer weather with a little help from the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
The Game Commission’s Howard Nursery now has fully assembled bluebird nesting boxes or woodworking kits available to the public.
Kits can provide a great opportunity for scouting groups, summer camps, and conservation groups to help wildlife. Since bluebirds are early nesters, now is the time to place new nest boxes as well as clean and repair existing boxes.
A single box sells for nearly $12 including tax but special pricing discounts are available. Visit the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s website for more information.
