Nurses at Butler Memorial Hospital will be picketing outside of the hospital today as they fight for safer working conditions.
Organizers say the “informational picket” will happen at the hospital starting at 7 a.m. Nurses and other community leaders will express their concern about the rising number of violent incidents in hospitals.
It also comes as nearly 500 hospital nurses are in negotiations for new contracts.
Organizers also say the nurses on the line will either be off from work or on break.
