Nurses at Butler Memorial Hospital will be picketing outside of the hospital early next week in an effort to bring more safety to healthcare settings.
Organizers call it an “informational picket” where nurses and other community leaders will express their concern about the rising number of violent incidents in hospitals.
It also comes as nearly 500 hospital nurses are in negotiations for new contracts.
The rally will happen starting at 7 a.m. Organizers also say the nurses on the line will either be off from work or on break.
