Bonita A. Faulk (nee Doverspike), 100, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, formerly of Butler, PA, went home to her Lord on November 21, 2021. Bonnie was born May 4, 1921, in DuBois, PA and graduated from DuBois High School in 1939. On April 27, 1946, she married Paul (Joe) Faulk.
She was employed at T.W. Phillips Gas & Oil Company for 38 years and had many friends there. Bonnie was active at Butler United Methodist Church and was always helping others. She enjoyed antiquing, baking, spending time with friends and family and very much enjoyed the music of Elvis, Michael Bublé and Harry Connick, Jr.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Rick Faulk of Las Vegas and Paula Faulk Hurley of North Ridgeville, Ohio, with whom she lived. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jeffrey Hurley (Mary), Kelly Faulk Oakley (Kevin), Kristen Faulk, and two great-grandchildren, Abigail and James Oakley. Her sister, Verna Dewald of Williamsport, PA also survives her, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Paul (Joe) Faulk; parents George and Margaret Doverspike; sisters Blanda Slawson and Arwilda Graham and brothers Creston, Elton, and Raymond Doverspike.
Friends may call at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA at 11:00 AM on November 30. The Funeral Service will follow at 12::00 PM.
