Bonnie Lou Bane, 67 of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away October 18, 2022 at Butler Memorial Hospital. Born December 10, 1954 the daughter of George and Edna (Hays) Rodgers.
She graduated from Butler High School in 1973. She worked at Bobby Brooks, Sugar Creek Nursing Home, and Perkins where she met the love of her life for the last 36 years. She was a member of Saint Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center.
She loved spending time with her grandkids, shopping trips with her sister and daughter. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, playing games on the computer and spending time with her dog Puppy, and loved collecting Indians.
She is preceded in death by: her father, George Rodgers; mother, Mary Edna (Hays) Rodgers, sister, Lisa Rodgers.
She is survived by her husband Tom Bane-Butler; sister-in-law, Kathy Bane; a son, Andrew Briceland-Butler; a son, Bryan and his wife Amber Bane-Butler; a son, T. R. Bane-Pittsburgh; daughter, Heather Bane-Butler and her significant other Anthony Rogers-Butler; daughter, Shannan Bane-Clarion; a sister, Linda (Jim) Young-Butler; a brother, George (Nancy) Rodgers-Butler; grandkids; Autumn Bane, Bryan Bane II, Ana Bane, and Logan Rogers, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends received at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, Chicora, PA. from 6-8 pm Friday and Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
Internment will be private.
