There’s been a big bounce in COVID booster shots for Butler County over the past couple of weeks.
According to the Department of Health, there are now over 40,000 county residents who have received a booster shot—that’s up almost 7,000 more since the beginning of the month.
Fully vaccinated individuals continue to rise as well, with nearly 110,000 residents now in that category.
The CDC is recommending that anyone who is six months out from their last COVID shot should get a booster.
