Butler County Commissioner Kevin Boozel testified in front of state lawmakers yesterday giving his perspective on counties role during the pandemic.
Boozel spoke before members of local government committees in both the House and Senate saying the decision-making process needed to be more collaborative.
He said counties are being left on the sidelines despite the fact that they are responsible for implementing the decisions. Boozel also added that counties had to continue with their regular duties in addition to the pandemic response.
Boozel was testifying on behalf of other county commissioners through their advocacy CCAP group.
