A local man is facing federal drug and firearms charges.
According to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice, 46-year-old Daniel Dellich Jr of Boyers has been indicted by a federal grand jury for violating narcotics and gun laws.
The indictment alleges that in August Dellich possessed with intent to distribute a mixture of a substance that contained methamphetamine. Dellich also allegedly possessed a weapon and ammunition while a convicted felon which is against the law.
Dellich is facing up to 30 years in prison if convicted as well as a possible fine of over $1 million.
