A local man has entered a guilty plea to a federal drug charge.
According to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice, 47-year-old Daniel Dellich Jr of Boyers pled guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
The indictment alleges that between March and August of 2021, Dellich used Facebook messenger to negotiate the sale of meth. A search of the Dellich residence allowed state and federal law enforcement to find the drugs. Dellich waived his rights and admitted to recently selling meth.
Dellich will be sentenced in February and is facing up to 20 years in prison as well as a possible fine of $1 million.
