A brand-new music festival with nationally known acts was set to come to Pittsburgh this fall. However, just over a month after announcing the concert, organizers have cancelled it.
The “Sudden Little Thrills” festival was originally set for the first weekend of September at the Hazelwood Green complex. It was to bring artists like The Killers and Wiz Khalifa to Pittsburgh.
The group that was organizing the show is known as C3, which also handles major events like Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
There was no reason given for the cancelation; C3 says there were “circumstances beyond our control.” Refunds will be given to those who purchased tickets.
