Braves take Game 1 of World Series/Morton suffers broken leg

The Atlanta Braves took Game 1 of baseball’s World Series with a 6-2 victory over the Houston Astros last night. The win came despite the Braves losing starting pitcher Charlie Morton to a broken leg after he was hit by a batted ball in the second inning. Despite taking the hit, he remained in the game until one out in the third inning. Game 2 is tonight at 8:09pm in Houston.
