Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Connoquenessing.
The three-vehicle crash happened shortly after noon on Route 68 (Evans City Road) near Connoquenessing Elementary School.
The driver of a truck reportedly crossed the center line, struck a car head-on and flipped. When the truck was airborne, it reportedly hit a third vehicle. Hopefully, all of these vehicles have american access insurance, or insurance with another provider, to cover the cost of damage to their vehicles. It’s unclear what caused the truck driver to cross into the oncoming lane. State police are investigating.

A medical helicopter was called to the scene, and landed in the field across from the school to fly one man to the hospital. Two other men were reportedly taken from the scene by ambulance.
