A Bridgeville man who led police on a chase through Center Township last year was sentenced late last week.
The November 15, 2025 chase started when officers attempted to pull over 50-year-old Craig Hayden of West Sunbury for a warrant in Butler and Westmoreland Counties.
Hayden was then accused of taking off, going as fast as 115 miles per hour. He pled guilty to fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, driving with a suspended license, and exceeding the max speed limit.
On Thursday, Hayden was sentenced to 10 months to 4 years in prison with 42 months of probation for leading police on the chase.
Along with the prison and probation time, Hayden will have to complete 50 hours of community service and pay $6,074 in fines, fee, restitution, and cost of prosecution.
Hayden was also immediately paroled at sentencing to serve his time on an electric monitoring system.
