A local business owner will be challenging State Representative Marci Mustello for the Republican nomination in the 11th House District.
Ryan Covert announced his candidacy at an event Thursday night.
Covert is one of the owners of the Butler Hot Dog Shoppe, Snack ‘N Pack, and Over the Top Truck Wash and Fleet Detailing. He has also spent time as a professional boxer.
The 11th District covers all of the City of Butler and Butler Township.
