It’s the day before Thanksgiving, and the holiday travel period is in full swing.
Nearly 80 million Americans are expected to travel for Thanksgiving according to AAA. Most are predicted to travel by car.
AAA says that the worst time to travel is today from 1-5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Travel is predicted to be up about 1.7 million people from 2023.
Gas is also the cheapest its been in three years for the holidays; the average price for a gallon of gas in Butler is $3.20. That’s down almost 30 cents from last year.
