Sunny skies are on tap for the rest of the week, which could mean a great view for fall foliage.
According to the Pennsylvania DCNR, the stretch of cold temperatures over the past few days means Butler County is “approaching best color.”
The sugar and red maples are starting to change the most according to the DCNR. However oak canopies are still fairly green.
Officials say another cold snap of weather could jump start fall foliage for the Allegheny and Appalachian mountain regions.
