Even though the Butler Area Public Library is closed tomorrow for Independence Day, the facility continues to present activities and programs for all ages during this upcoming week.
It’s Ocean Science Week for the Kids Summer Reading Challenge with Grab and Go Kits, Ocean Science Storytimes, and a Mad Science Pittsburgh visit Wednesday morning.
Tweens and Teens are welcome to join in a Water Relay Race on Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Young Adult Zone. This activity includes moving water by filling and passing a sponge.
On Thursday, adults 18 and older are invited to the No Shelf Control book club meeting at 6 p.m. in the Sun room to discuss a Hugo Award winning book.
