The Butler Area Public Library has once again received statewide recognition.
The library recently obtained all five Silver Stars in Pennsylvania’s PA Forward initiative. These include Silver Stars for Basic Literacy, Information Literacy, Civic and Social Literacy, Health Literacy, and Financial Literacy.
PA Forward is a statewide initiative under the PA Library Association, which works to strengthen the state’s libraries through education, advocacy and leadership.
The Butler Area Public Library plans to continue working over the next several months to obtain a PA Forward Gold Star while improving the quality of life in our community.
