Butler baseball clinches post-season spot/North Catholic wins section title

High School Baseball Results from Wednesday:
–Butler defeated Seneca Valley 3-1 to earn a playoff spot. The Golden Tornado will be one of the five teams to clinch a playoff spot in Class 6A – Section-1. Colin Patterson hit a home run and drove in two of the three runs for the Golden Tornado. Madden Clement allowed just one hit over 6-1/3rd innings and struck out seven.
–North Allegheny shared the Section-1 title with Pine-Richland after an 8-4 victory Wednesday.
–North Catholic claimed the Section-1 title in Class 4A following a 2-1 win over Knoch.
