The Butler BlueSox will begin their 10th season on Thursday.
The home opener against the Champion City Kings will start at 7:05 p.m. inside the iconic Butler ballpark- now known as Kelly Automotive Park.
If fans can’t make it to the park, they can now watch the game live. Prospect League TV is a subscription-based video service that will stream every league game in high definition either live or on-demand.
There will be seven fireworks nights at the ballpark following games. The first will be this Friday.
Tickets for all games are available online or at the box office. It’s $7 for general admission seating.
The Butler BlueSox started playing at then-Pullman Park back in 2009 after playing three seasons in Washington, PA. The BlueSox play in the Prospect League, which is a collegiate summer baseball league featuring players from colleges across the country. There are 11 teams in the league- stretching from Hannibal, Missouri to Beckley West Virginia.
