The man who helped make the Butler Ambulance Service what it is today has died.
Clarence “Curly” “CR” Bacher died Friday.
CR was an entrepreneur at heart founding several local businesses- including Bacher and Associates Accounting and Bacher Electronics. In the late 60s, he purchased the Butler Ambulance Service…and then when on to found Butler Assist Coach, which is a transport service for wheelchair patients.
CR was 90 years old.
