Butler City Council has approved a loan request from the Parks, Recreation Grounds, and Facilities Authority for regular expenses at Historic Pullman Park.
At Thursday night’s meeting, Council approved a loan in an amount not to exceed $35,000 using interest from the sale of BASA assets.
This action was a late addition to the Council agenda due to the Authority’s need for funds before the next Council meeting at the end of January.
The term of the loan has yet to be finalized but it is expected to be enough to cover expenses until revenue starts back up in the spring.
