Butler City Council has finalized the adoption of a budget for 2020 that does not raise taxes.
Council unanimously voted to adopt the nearly $9.5 million budget during a meeting Thursday.
The budget is slightly higher than last year, but maintains the current real estate tax rate of 43.25 mills. A mill equates to $1 in taxes for every $1,000 of assessed property value.
There are no increases in and city fees planned for the upcoming year at this time.
